Live Chaat Counter & Mocktail Bar
Chaat and Mocktail Counters for Weddings in Jaipur
Guests usually reach the live chaat counter before they reach the stage. So a good chaat and mocktail spread keeps the welcome area lively while the main buffet gets ready.

What We Serve at the Live Chaat Counter
- Golgappe with three waters, such as pudina, hing and meetha
- Aloo tikki with chole, fried on the tawa when you order
- Dahi bhalla and papdi chaat, topped just before serving so they stay crisp
- Raj kachori, filled at the counter while guests watch
- Matar ki kachori and mirchi vada, especially popular with Jaipur guests
You do not need all five. For a small party, two or three items are enough, while a big wedding usually takes the full spread.
Mocktail Bar
The bar is run by a trained bartender, and garnishes and ice are kept separate for hygiene.
- Virgin mojito and blue lagoon, mostly for younger guests
- Kala khatta and jaljeera shots when it is hot
- Aam panna and kesar thandai, also good as welcome drinks
- Fresh lime soda, sweet or salted
- Seasonal fruit coolers, depending on what is fresh that month
In summer, aam panna and kala khatta go fastest. During winter, guests ask for kesar thandai and hot drinks instead. For more ideas, see our list of welcome drinks for a wedding.
Planning a Live Chaat Counter for Your Guests
One live chaat counter can serve a few hundred guests if the menu is short. When the guest list is large, we split it into two counters, such as golgappe on one and tikki and bhalla on the other. Then the queue keeps moving.
Place the counter near the entry or the welcome area, because that is where guests wait first. Also, keep it a little away from the stage, so the queue does not block photos.
Hygiene at the Live Chaat Counter
Chaat is only good if guests trust it. So our staff wear gloves and caps, and the waters and chutneys stay in covered containers. We also change the serving spoons often during a long evening.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the golgappe water safe, especially for older guests?
We make the waters with packaged drinking water and serve with gloves and covered containers.
Can mocktails be served as welcome drinks before the bar opens?
Yes. Stewards can serve them on trays at the entry while the bar runs inside, so guests get a drink as soon as they arrive.
Can we book only the chaat counter, without full catering?
Tell us your date and guest count, and we will tell you what is possible for your event.
